KOHEN / FUNDS & INVESTMENTS
KOHEN PLATFORM evaluates investment strategies across private markets, public markets and real assets. Our ambition is to build a disciplined investment ecosystem that can participate in companies, funds, projects and assets across global industries.
INVESTMENT ARCHITECTURE
The appropriate structure depends on the assets, liquidity, investor profile, jurisdiction, risk tolerance and regulatory requirements. These are distinct strategies and should not be blended without a clear mandate.
Private equity, growth capital, infrastructure, private credit and direct company investments. Investments may be made directly or through appropriately authorised fund structures.
Listed equities, bonds, exchange-traded products and other eligible securities. Portfolio management, dealing, custody and investment advice must be performed by appropriately authorised providers.
Energy, mining, technology infrastructure, transport, agriculture, property and industrial assets. Ownership may be direct, through a holding company, joint venture or regulated fund.
FUND DEVELOPMENT
It is achievable, but a fund is not simply a company with investor money. It requires a defined strategy, legal structure, eligible investor base, governance, authorised management, custody arrangements, valuation, audit, risk controls and regulatory compliance. The rules differ between Switzerland, the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions.
Define target assets, geography, ticket size, investment horizon, liquidity, risk limits, return objectives and eligible investor category.
Select the jurisdiction and fund form; appoint qualified legal, tax, regulatory and fund-administration advisers.
Assess authorised fund managers, depositaries or custodians, administrators, auditors, banks and distribution arrangements.
Complete documentation, regulatory permissions or registrations, investor onboarding, AML/KYC, valuation and reporting processes.
POTENTIAL FUND STRATEGIES
KOHEN may explore distinct strategies over time, subject to investor demand, licensing, suitable management partners and a viable operating model. No fund described here is currently represented as launched or accepting subscriptions.
Semiconductors, AI infrastructure, data centres, software and enabling technologies.
Energy infrastructure, mining, critical minerals and resource-related businesses.
Manufacturing, aerospace, maritime, food systems and industrial technology.
Listed equity and fixed-income exposure through an appropriate regulated investment structure.
GOVERNANCE
Investment outcomes are uncertain. A credible platform needs independent oversight, conflicts management, transparent fees, investment committee discipline, asset valuation, custody, liquidity management, audited accounts and investor reporting.
